7-11 on 7-11-11

Did you get your free slurpee today at 7-11?
We did! Happy Birthday 7-11!
The first 7-11 we went to was out of the free cups, so I just drove to another one 5 minutes away. I wasn't about to pay for a slurpee on 7-11 ;)
The girls had never had a slurpee before, so I figured 7-11-11 would be the perfect date to indulge! I haven't had a slurpee in so long...I forgot how good that sugary goodness is. Yum.
Unfortunately, they were out of my favorite flavor...Blue Raspberry.
So, a Cherry & Coca-Cola combo it was!
We still enjoyed our slurpees even though it was only 65 degrees out today.
Serioulsy?!?!? Brrr. This is ridiculous.
Summer weather, please back to California!

  1. Sadly we do not have a 7-11 in our small town! I know.. It should be a crime! Coke is my favorite flavor. :)

  2. mmm cherry-coke combo is my ABSOLUTE favorite. Your girls got a VERY good intro! :)

And, yeah, SO cold. I just got back from a walk in a mist, that could VERY much almost be borderline rain.

    On 7-11.

    crazy.

  4. We went to get them (and fill up my van with gas) and there was a sign taped to the door saying they were OUT of the free Slurpees. Can you even believe that? Since my kids had their hearts set on Slurpees I paid $4.89 for three full size drinks. Nice.

  5. You can have some of the Missouri heat. It's 10 at night and still feels like 100 degrees.

  11. Those look delicious! I would take your 65 degree weather any day. It was 86 degrees at 7AM this morning here in TN and is suppose to hit over 100. Ick. We are trapped inside...it's as bad as winter (in the opposite temp direction of course).
