Friday Favorites + a $100 Target Giftcard Giveaway

Today I am linking up with Friday Favorites!

Hosted by: Andrea, Erika & Narci
{ONE}
Birthdays are my FAVORITE!
Luke turned 3 on Sunday.
His birthday started off with his favorite...homemade buttermilk pancakes!
Then we headed to ride the steam trains & Merry Go Round!
Can't believe my baby is 3!!
We are having his party tomorrow, which leads me to my next favorite....

{TWO}
Throwing Parties is my favorite!
Today I will be busy prepping for the party.
It's a Firetruck theme for my Firetruck loving boy!
I have tons of ideas floating around in my head that I have planned for the party, here's hoping I can get them all done by tomorrow!

{THREE}
Speaking of birthdays & parties....cupcakes are my favorite!
Last Friday, I posted about the Cupcake Wars that I did with my kids.
I have links to TONS of cupcake recipes on that post, along with my newest Cupcake recipe...Salted Caramel Snickers Cupcakes!

Check out the recipes {HERE}

Stitch Fixis my Favorite!

My August Fix arrived yesterday! There was a new dress in it & it is perfect to wear on the 1st day of school!
It's like Christmas morning every month. I have been getting one every month since May 2014 (you don't have to do them every month, but I love getting them, so I chose the monthly option. :)
You don't have to do it every month, you can customize it to how you want it...every other month, every 2 months, every 3 months, etc.

When you sign up for Stitch Fix  , you link your Pinterest Boards to them so that know what styles you like. If you don't have Pinterest, that's okay because they also have a style questionaire for you to fill out & they have collages of outfits and you rate them on how you like them.
 Each Fix comes with 5 different items & it comes with a prepaid mailing envelope, so you can easily return the items you don't want.
You aren't obligated to keep any of it! I have kept at least 1 item each time, sometimes I keep 2 or 3.
It's fun!
  You can get started with  Stitch Fixtoday!
 {FIVE}
 Lake Tahoe is my favorite. The kids and I headed up last week. Kevin has a huge work project that he is working on until October & is working really long hours, so the kids and I decided to have a change of scenery & head up to Tahoe for one last summer trip!
On the drive up, we stopped at my FAVORITE fruit stand for a fresh Apple pie! YUM!
Ikeadas is the best! If you live in Nor Cal, their pies are amazing!
Going to the Lake & playing in the water & sand is favorite for all 3 of my kids.
  Char-Pit is our favorite place to get Chocolate Dipped Cones in Tahoe!
 Running 5 miles along the Truckee River Trail pushing Luke in the jogging stroller (at 6000 feet elevation) was NOT my favorite, but the views were gorgeous!
We also had fun exploring Squaw Valley:
 And, Squaw Village:
Making Cinnamon Rolls on a chilly Tahoe morning is my favorite!
It was a fun last Summer hoorah in Tahoe!

Acute Care is my favorite!
Did you know that August is Acute Care month for Rodan + Fields?
This product is amazing and softens the expression lines so you can still talk, move your face and smile when you want to.
 Acute Care is available in the US and now Canada!!!

  To celebrate I'm offering 1 FREE BOX of Acute Care to anyone in the US or Canada who joins me in business today! It's a $220 value! Have you been curious and wondering what's involved? Let's chat, no pressure. I'll answer all of your questions. NOW is definitely a great moment for you and for this company!
For all new Preferred Customers this month, you get $20 cash back, 10% off your order, Free shipping AND you can get Acute Care for the consultant cost ($165). Plus, for all current and new Preferred Customers, if you order Aucte Care, you will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE box of Acute Care!
Amazing deal!!!
You might want to know what is Acute Care??'
It's an answer to getting amazing results WITHOUT an injectable filler! Acute Care melts hyaluronic acid (the same ingredient in many injectable fillers) into our wrinkles while we sleep. It doesn't get any easier than that folks...we're asleep!
Forbes recognized it as a game changer, labeling it one of 2014's Most Innovative Beauty Products!!! It's a patch (a lot like a band-aid). You wear them 3x a week at night while you sleep for 4 weeks & results last 3-4 months!
Message me to place an order or if you have questions!

Earlier this week, my older sister and I took the girls to a Giants game.
The Giants are our favorite!
So are the views at the stadium. I may be biased....but we have the greatest baseball stadium :)
Look at those views!
Whenever I go to a Giants game, I have my FAVORITE....a California version of a Philly Cheesesteak....with sweet & hot peppers. SO good!
We had such a fun time at the game & the girls can't wait to go back again!

{EIGHT}
Backpacks & lunch boxes from Pottery Barn Kids are my favorite!
Kate had one for 1st & 2nd grade, but needed a new one for this year.
Here is what she picked out:
Here is Claire's:
They are part of THIS collection.
Both girls got a large size backpack, the classic lunch box & a matching waterbottle.
The collection is on sale for 20% off right now!

{NINE}
Early girl tomatoes are my favorite!
I am getting a nice harvest from my garden right now.
 Look at that red color!!!!
YUM!
