School starts back up in less than 2 weeks.
That makes me sad.
When I am sad, I like to bake cookies.
Homemade cookies are a great way to cheer up!
Plus, on our Summer List we put "Make Cookies for our Neighbors"
We knew just the cookies to make:
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a bowl (except chocolate chip and m&m's)
Beat well for about 1-2 minutes.
Then add chocolate chips and m&m's.
Stir until combined.
Using a cookie scoop, form into balls.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
When slightly cooled, transfer to a cooling rack.
Your kitchen smells amazing at this point.
This recipe makes 2 dozen cookies.
These are some of our favorite cookies.
Oatmeal? Good. Chocolate Chips? Good. M&M's? Good. Peanut Butter? Good.
What's not to like?!?

These look wonderful! We made chocolate chip cookies this week to give to my daughters teacher in the first day of school.
ReplyDeleteHere's a question - I made these today and the fam loved them! BUT the recipe calls for quick oats and the picture shows old-fashioned oats. Do you typically use quick oats or the regular rolled oats?

I made these today, but the cookie dough came out very crumbly. Odd. Do you know what could have caused this? Thanks!
