Fun at the Fair!

Last week I took the girls to the Fair! Kevin was at work, so we met up with Papa & Grandma Jill who were there with my niece & nephew, Alexis & Kyle!

This was the first time taking them to an actual fair...
(You can't really count Kate's Carnival Party, although it was close!)
The first thing we did when we got there was to go see Kevin's cousin Sue who had a handmade rug on display, she won 2nd place!
Next, we went to the Arts & Craft center & drew some pictures.

Next, we headed to the "Farm" section of the fair
Kyle & Alexis signed up to compete in the Tractor Pull

They even got ribbons for participating!
Kate really wanted to do the tractor pull, but she is way to small, so we headed over to the tot lot tractors. There were 4 tractors to choose from, 2 green ones, a red one & a pink one. Guess which one Kate picked? That's my girl!

Then she made another art project, coffee filters that were turned into a flower!
This sign made me laugh, it is SO me!
Alexis had a turn at the bungy jumping ride:

We then headed over to the kids ride section.
SO. much. FUN!!
I felt like I was a kid again! *sigh*
Did you know that this hot air balloon ride was purchased from MJ's Neverland Ranch?
I didn't know that until Kevin showed me the article.

Kate went on her first fair ride, she wanted to go on the cars. She LOVED it. It was so much fun watching her face!



Then, she went on the Merry go Round!

We ended our time at the fair with ice cream, of course!


Kate was supposed to share her ice cream with me, but she ate the entire thing! I wasn't surprised when she didn't want dinner!
We had so much fun at the fair & Kate is still talking about it, a week later!
I loved everything about the fair.... the sights, the colors, the smells, the noises, the people.
Can't wait to go back next year!
