"Hate" & "Hair"

Our sweet little Kate is talking (and blabbering) up a storm. Sometimes we understand what she says, other times we have no idea what she is saying. It seems that everyday she is saying new things to us. Unfortunately for Kate, she can't say "K" or "C" sounds. This is a bummer when your name is Kate & your new baby sister is Claire. When we ask Kate what her name is she replies "Hate". When she sees pictures of herself she says "It's Hate! I'm Hate!"

When she talks to Claire, she says gets right in her face and says in her cute little voice, "Hi Hair, Hi." It is quite possibly one of the sweetest things I have seen. Every morning when Kate wakes up she says "I want Baby Hair, where is Baby Hair?"

And speaking of hair, Kate is getting her first hair cut this week, it's been looking a little straggly. Wish us luck with that endeavor! I hope she doesn't freak out!
