2 month check up

Claire had her 2 month well baby check up today. The appointment went well (besides being at the doctors office for almost 2 hours...ugh)

Her are her stats:
11 lbs 14 oz (60th %)
24 inches (90th %)

The doctor said she was perfect & was very impressed at Claire's smiling and cooing during the entire appointment. The smiling and cooing ended after Claire got 2 vaccinations. Oh boy. I don't remember Kate being this cranky after shots. It has been a rough evening. But we finally gave her some Tylenol & a bath & she has settled down.

We had to move her to size 2 diapers yesterday & the 3 month clothes are getting snug on her. Kate was such a slow grower that it seemed like she was a baby forever. It makes me happy/sad that Claire is getting so big...I want my baby to stay a baby! I was telling Kevin last night that part of me wished that Claire would slow down her growth so that I could enjoy the "newborn" stage longer. But, it is also a huge relief that Claire is growing so much. We are hoping to avoid the weight gaining issues that Kate has. It has been stressful!
