I just paid $75 to fill up my car & it's not even 3/4 full. Ouch. One of the "perks" of living in California, I guess. I'm curious....what are you paying at the pump?
high five for $75. that's exactly what mine was today - $4.29/gal, 16 gallons, plus that included a $6 drive thru cheesy carwash. which is all I can afford after paying for the gas.
I live in Scotland and petrol (gas) is £1.40 per liter. Which is £6 per gallon. That equals to $9.75 a gallon. Yes you read right. So, it COULD be worse. We are hoping it comes down too!
Gas prices here are ridiculous. We don't get the "cheap" grade gas either, only mid, high and diesel. We're paying about $4.18 for the mid grade fuel. We're in Germany and this is the price on post in gallons. Off post it's almost $9 a gallon with the exchange rate.
I'm just East of Dallas, Texas and we are at about $3.90/gallon. Living in the country it's at least 40 miles round trip to go anywhere. We are sure missing our dorky little Honda Fit that got 35 miles/gallon in the city.
I guess I should be happy to pay 3.89 here in Minot North Dakota. plus we use a 5 cent coupon and 5 cent discount if we pay with a check or cash. I promise not to complain anymore. That's a whoppin' 10 cents off per gallon and they will also give $2 off the car wash when you fill 'er up!! :o)
Ok Im going to be completely content that our prices just dropped from $3.93 down to $3.83 here in a small area of New York State(we're right on the PA border) Im only 31 but I can remember when gas was only 99 cents a gallon. GRRRRRRRR Sarah
Ours shot up to NZ$ 2.23 a litre! Costs me about NZ$110 to fill my tank. I just CANNOT pay more than NZ$100 for a tank of gas so never fill it right up!
since my daughter is turning 9 tomorrow, we got out her baby book to trip down memory lane. Gas was only $1.23 a gallon 9 years ago! I live in South Carolina and we are paying $3.62 right now.
Holy cow. I live in West Texas and the gas costs $3.62 right now.
ReplyDeleteI'm paying the same as you. But I'm in sunny SoCal San Diego!
