One year ago today on January 8, 2008.......I was almost a week "late" so I took a test after school, you know....just to ease my mind.
I was SHOCKED when I saw this:
I think , actually I know I said a "bad word".
I started shaking. Oh no, I thought...Kevin is going to FREAK.
Kate was only 11 months old & I was still nursing her and we were being "careful"
I needed to tell Kevin, but he was still at work.
I didn't want to tell him over the phone. I had to think of something creative like I did when I found out I was pregnant with Kate.
(When I found out I was pregnant with Kate, it was on Kevin's 31st birthday..May 18, 2006. I wrapped up the test as a birthday present & had him open it.
We had been trying for a few months after our 2nd miscarriage, and I was a few days late & decided to test on Kevin's birthday! It was a great birthday present for him!)
I decided to have Kate help me in telling Daddy the big news.
This is what Kevin saw when he walked in the door from work 1 year ago today:
I just grabbed a onesie & some sharpies. I needed something quick!
Kate looks so young! (well, she was...she wasn't even 1 yet!) Kevin's reaction was GREAT. He was so excited, he picked up Kate & ran around the house saying "Yahoooooooooo!"
A few weeks later after our 7 week ultrasound, we told both sets of parents by having Kate wear this onesie to their house. Everyone was VERY surprised!
8 months later Claire was born! I am so thankful for our little surprise!

you scared me! I didn't read the title and I thought this was today. Phew! Maybe you don't feel the same but just the thought of being pregnant again makes me want to cry. The twins ruined me. I hope all is well.
