What's Up Wednesday :: January 2015

I thought it would be fun to share about What's Up?
A little random, a little bit of everything!
Maybe I will do this once a month!

What We are Eating this week:
I am all about Meal Planning.
Every Sunday I do our meal plan for the week.
It helps me stay organized!
Monday- Calzones
Tuesday - Slow Cooker Rosemary Beef Stew
Wednesday - Leftovers
Thursday - Chicken Tortilla Casserole
{Recipe HERE}
Friday - Pizza at Kate's Pizza Party!

I also like to bake something each week.
 This week I made my Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies:
Recipe {HERE}

What I'm Reading:
Reading books is my favorite. LOVE all the suggestions that you had on THIS post.
If you are looking for books to read in 2015, check out the post and read the comments of all the great books people suggested.
Reading "The Best Yes" now and when I am done with that I am going to read "What Alice Forgot"

What I'm Reminiscing about:
Since it's Kate's birthday week, I'm reminiscing about Kate!
January 21st was my due date...she was born 2 days later.
I've been looking back at pictures from when she was a baby & a toddler.
Can't believe she is turning 8. Where has the time gone?!!
If you love birth stories like I do, you can read hers {HERE}

What I'm Looking Forward to:
I am looking forward to February 2nd...that is when Rodan + Fields launches into Canada!
Such an exciting time!
The R+F launch in Canada is the 1st stop in our global expansion.

 Does starting your own INTERNATIONAL business from your phone, iPad or laptop that's completely flexible get you excited? It should!
Canada will explode very quickly, and I LOVE sharing this opportunity with others.
This is a Ground Floor Opportunity!
What if 2015 was the year you...
-- paid off your school loans
-- started filling college funds
-- have a fun and successful biz while still getting to put your kids first
-- (fill in the blank)
How would you fill in the blank?
PS. Proactiv (created by Dr. Rodan and Dr. Fields)  owns 83% of the Global Acne market...we will do it again.
We have some specials & discounts going on for joining our team (up to $100 cash back!!)
If you aren't interested, but do you know anyone in Canada or in the US?
I would love your referrals for customers or business partners!
If you refer someone to me, I will give you FREE product or cash!
We have a great referral system.
Email me if you have questions! This side "gig" has been such a blessing to our family...and I spend less than 15 minutes a day on it!

What I'm loving:
Happy Customers!
I love when I get emails from customers letting me know how much they are loving the products and how they feel more confident with their skin & how they look.
It's not just about anti-aging.
We have 4 main product lines.
Redefine is for fine lines & wrinkles.

Reverse is for Sun Damage & Age Spots & Pregnancy Melasma

 Unblemish is for Acne...
It works on teens:

AND it works on adults! Unblemish is my most popular product!!
Soothe is for sensitve skin, exzema, rosacaa, facial redness!
I even use Soothe on my kids, especially when Luke gets a bad diaper rash...it clears it right up!

Want to know what products are best for your skin?
Take this quick 30 second survey {HERE}

We have other products, not just regimens.
We have an amazing eye cream,
 And, we have our 2 amazing tools the Macro Exfoliator (cleans out pores and dead skin) and AMP Roller (that helps get rid of fine lines & wrinkles)

ALL of our products come with a 60 day empty bottle, 100% money back guarantee!
You have nothing to lose for trying them out!

I am also loving the promotion we have going on for the rest of January.
For all new preferred customers you get $20 cash back, 10% off your order, FREE shipping AND a FREE Lip Micro Dermabrasion Chap Stick!!!
It is PERFECT for the winter weather that causes chapped lips.
Our Lip Micro-Dermabrasion is an effective and convenient exfoliation stick created specifically for one of the areas of your face most prone to showing early signs of aging: your lips. It removes dead skin cells and exfoliates flaky lip tissues in just a few swipes. This easy to use, conditioning treatment makes lips look and feel more defined and youthful by renewing the surface and reducing lipstick bleeding! I use it each morning and every night before bed. The stick lasts over 4 months!

Email me to place an order or if you have questions.
I would LOVE to help you with your skin care needs!

What we've been up to:
Several family members have birthdays in January, we celebrated my Father In Law's birthday over the weekend!

What I'm Dreading:
Grading tests, Vocab Flipbooks & Homework Packets!
Our semester ends this Friday so I have TONS of grading to get done by the time our grades are due on Monday!

What I'm Working On:
Getting things reading for Kate's Pizza Party this Friday!
I still have SO much left to do for her party....food labels, thank you labels, favors....sometimes I do my best work at the last minute....any other procrastinators out there?

What I'm Excited About:
I'm excited to celebrate Kate! She has a lot of opinions about her party and she is so excited for it which makes me so excited for it!

What I'm Watching:
January TV means The Bachelor & American Idol are back!
 2 of my favorite shows! Do you watch either of them?
I know it's just the auditions for AI, but this guys has my vote.
I totally cried during his audition! SO talented!!!
Watch it here:

What I'm Listening to:
Kevin and I just finished listening to the Serial Podcast!
Have you listened? SO good!
You can download it for free {HERE}

What music am I Listening to:
 Taylor Swift! My girls love rocking out to her.
I am also loving Maroon 5's Sugar!

What am I annoyed by?
Right now I am annoyed that the Superbowl is going to be the Seahawks & Patriots.
I wanted it to be the Packers & Colts
(Well, I really wanted the 49ers to be there, but we didn't even make the playoffs. Now that is annoying!!)

What I'm hoping for:
I am hoping for RAIN!!!!!
Even though it rained  a lot in December, it hasn't rained since then and we are still in a huge drought in California. All the snow in Tahoe is melting. Not good! Praying for rain!

What I'm Wearing Today:

What else is new:
Once January hits I get the bug to freshen up our house.
I got a new rug for our living room (Ikea!) and some new pillows (Home Goods)
Totally changes the look of our living room!

 So, what's up with you?
(Maybe I will do this as a link up so I can really know what's up with you!!!! Stay tuned!)

  4. Would it be rude to request a post on how you get everything done?!?! I am amazed every time I read your posts. I seriously don't know how you can do everything you post about.

    I feel like I'm falling apart with a full time job, 1 kid, and having to battle between sleep/me time. Seriously. I would love some tips and advice for how you keep things neat, how you manage your schedule, how you manage a side job on top of another job, how you can read books, watch TV shows, throw parties, go out and have a social life... I am SO jealous! Teach me your ways!!!!!!
