Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Avocado Smoothie

Do not let the title of this post scare you.
Yes, this is a a Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Avocado Smoothie.
This is one of the yummiest smoothies out there.
I started making this for my girls as a way to get more protein in their diets.
My girls aren't the best eaters.
They don't eat a lot of protein (they are carb junkies like me!)
And, most nights after they were in bed, they would come downstairs saying that they were hungry.
I think it's because they weren't getting enough protein throughout the day.
But, this smoothie is packed full of protein.
I lie to my children and tell them this is a Chocolate Milkshake :)
I have one for lunch at least once a week when I am on the go and it totally fills me up!
 Here is what you need:
-8 ounces of Chocolate Almond Milk
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 small container of Greek Yogurt (plain or vanilla...I use non fat)
- 1 Tablespoon of Skippy Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 Teaspoon of Honey
- 1 cup of crushed ice

Dump everything in your blender and blend it up!
That's it!
So easy!
It has a very creamy texture.
And, you can't taste the avocado.
**Sometimes when I make this smoothie, I will even throw in a few handfuls of Spinach/Kale and you can't taste that either!***
If you are looking for a healthy smoothie that packs a lot of flavor and protein, this is the smoothie for you!
It would be great to have for breakfast, lunch or a snack!
Enjoy!

  1. YUM! I'm definitely pinning this to try it later...Elyse isn't the greatest protein eater either, but I normally don't worry about it because she can down a sippy cup full of Whole Milk like it's nobody's business!
