One year ago today, I started this blog.
This was my first post.
I had been reading blogs for years and had been wanting to start one, and I finally bit the bullet and started one last year on 08.08.08
(I am a numbers dork, so I love that date. Good thing I am a math teacher, right?)
This is my 181st post. I can't believe I have written that many posts! I never would have guessed I would write on the blog this much.
I started this blog as a way to document & journal about the girls. And to keep family & friends updated on our lives.
But, according to my blog meter, I have 50 people visit my blog each day, from places all across the United States (mostly California) and I have no idea who is reading my blog, so if you are, it is confession time!
So in honor of my blogoversary, leave me a comment and let me know who you are & how you found my blog. (This includes you, Mom!)
I admit, it I am blog-stalker. I LOVE reading other people's blogs. I have been trying to leave more comments because somehow that doesn't seem as stalker-ish. LOL!
And, since 1 year ago today I joined Facebook & started a blog, due to peer pressure, I decided to jump on the Twitter bandwagon.
Click on the logo find me there.
Let me know if you have twitter also!
I have had so much fun today going back and reading my previous blog entries. It has been amazing how much the girls have changed this year! I am glad I have documented it on this blog and it has brought back so many fun memories of the past year. I am SO, SO, SO glad started my blog.I can't wait to show it to my girls when they are older. If you love reading blogs, but haven't started one yet, I encourage you to! You won't regret it!
Thank you to all of you who take the time to read my blog and putting up with the obnoxious amount of pictures I put on here!

I honestly can't remember how I started reading your blog. But your girls are just adorable and I love all your pictures. Congratulations on your Blogoversary!
ReplyDeletei spend way too much time reading your blog ... i love it! anyway, i found you through becky's blog
ReplyDeleteI do I do and I love your blog! you inspire me to keep mine going.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog because you linked it to me :) then I just kept coming back for your cute stories.
Okay numbers dork, give me a good day to start mine and I'll do it (haha)! If Erik would just help me figure out that one glitch I was telling you about, I would be good to go! Not sure why I'm stuck on that, but whatever. I promise I'll do it soon, I even thought of you today when I was vacuuming my car with the kids still in their car seats-something silly to blog about, possibly dumb for others, but something that I thought about taking pictures of since they are not very good travelers, yet sat ever so patiently in the driveway at home! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Blog Day!
ReplyDeleteUgh... I think I am going to be right there behind you on twitter. I have been resisting. But I think I may go there. Next week. i will tweet to you. Does this mean I will have to get a new phone, too? No, not the iphone!!! It's the next step. I like my phone that has duct tape to hold in the sim card. Congrats on your anniversary. Are you guys going to go somewhere to celebrate. Maybe to some sort of techie convention or something?
ReplyDeletecongrats :) i think we found each other via joy's hope! so glad we did. we need to get together for a playdate one of these days!
ReplyDeleteI really can't remember how I started reading your blog but I really enjoy it. Your girls are adorable and some of their antics remind me of my own girls. I just started my own blog so feel free to stalk me. :) http://shelby-thislife.blogspot.com/ Happy Blogoversary!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I think blogging is such a fun way to keep a family diary and am really thankful for people who share theirs (otherwise I might have to actually WORK at work-- yuck.)
ReplyDeleteI think you found me first! I will always remember the first post of yours that I read was a "10 on 10" and I was hooked by your awesome photos.
Keep it up! :)
Hi, it's me, Becky! I'm not sure how I found out about your blog...maybe you linked to mine first. Anyway, I love your family and the blog is cute, the photos amazing, and the children are beautiful! Happy Blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Where can you see a "blog meter"? I need to find that!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember when I started reading your blog, maybe just about the time Sandi was getting ready to be your long term sub... so about 11 months ago! I love seeing pictures of your girls, they are such cuties! I also enjoy the random recipe that shows up, Sandi made the cupcakes with the cookie in it, they were awesome!
ReplyDeleteMy SIL got married on 08.08.08...fun date! I've been reading a couple months and love seeing your photos and hearing about your two girls. I started my blog for the exact same reasons and have been surprised that "strangers" are at all interested in hearing kid story after kid story, but I'm the same way, so I understand.
ReplyDeleteI think I found you from a comment you left on either Bring The Rain or LPM blog.
I live in CT, so I would qualify as being one of your readers from "across the US".
Your amazing pictures inspire me and its been fun getting to know you.
I started reading your blog after Devrah told me about it. I love watching your girls change, and I love the recipes you post. Your blog has made me a blog junkie, I love finding them and reading them.
ReplyDeleteI'm slow, but I read your blog too!! And I found it because you linked me too lol
