My Mother's Day started off on Saturday when Kevin let me sleep in..past 9:30!
Best. Husband. EVER.
When I woke up, the house was empty. About 3o minutes later Kevin & Kate arrived with my Mother's Day present. A beautiful bouquet of roses & a bottle of one of my favorite wines, Talbott. Mama needs wine! & I will not be sharing it :)
Kevin even took the camera to document their outing.
Saturday night we headed over to my parents house for ribs that Jimmy made!
I love my parents. They rule.
The girls love going to Jimmy & Mimi's house & playing with all the fun toys they have.

If you didn't notice, my older sister Elyse and I show up wearing pretty much the EXACT same thing.
This happens ALL the time in our family with my sisters, myself & my mom. It is pretty funny.
Becks decided to join in the fun & change her outfit to match us. We had a photo shoot like we used to do during summer when we were in middle school. Good times, good times.
Kate started posing for pictures also.
Sunday morning we went to church & then headed to Lodi to celebrate Mother's Day with Kevin's family. Heritage Oak Winery was having a wine-tasting picnic. They have beautiful vineyards there & the picnic was at the base of a river that ran through their property.
I had a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend & spent it with people I love, especially the 2 little girls that made my dreams come true by just being their mommy.

ReplyDeleteHow fun! More coincidences... we both married a Kevin, and both my girls' middle name is Kate! And if we have another 'C' girl, it will be Claire! My kids also call my Mom Mimi :) I really looking forward to reading on! How funny that we're neighbors, too.
