Here is what our 10th of September looked like....

Our morning started off bright and early with soccer pictures. I am the assistant coach for Claire's team so I got to take her. Our team name is the Lucky Charms. How cute are the socks? I ordered them for all the girls on the team.
No church for us today because after photos we picked up Luke and Kate and headed to a 7th birthday party for our neighbor. All 3 kids were invited, it was a bounce house place.
I stayed at the party for a little bit and then went on errands.
First stop was Startbucks for breakfast & an iced vanilla latte. At Starbucks I meal planned and finished up my grocery list. Every Sunday I do my meal planning for the week and then go to the store.

Then I headed to the grocery store. September means apples, apples, apples! Once October hits, I switch to pumpkin mode...but not before October 1st. I am planning on making an apple crisp this week. YUM!
After the store, I went back to the party and headed home. The kids were so tired from the party (and tired from Saturday because that was Claire's birthday) I unloaded groceries and then snuck out to get a pedicure. I picked #29...switching into more of a Fall color and I finally finished this book. It was just okay...normally I can read books quickly, but I had to force myself to finish this book. I had high hopes for it since I loved Girl on the Train. I felt like this book jumped back & forth too much and it was hard to keep up with all the characters.
When I got home, the kids were swimming along some neighbor kids were also over and the dads were watching the 49er game at the outdoor bar Kevin built. It was a hot day...almost 100 degrees.
You can see some of the decorations still up from Claire's Luau Pool party we had on Friday evening....I will blog about the party this week. Also, that orange cone is covering up a bracket that will be a post for our overhead structure that we are building...hoping it is done soon!
Then I made some cookies to bring to a Book Club/Bible Study that I was going to Sunday evening.
There are about12 women from our kids Elementary School who will be meeting every other Sunday this Fall doing a study. Super excited about it!
While the cookies were baking, I watched some of the 49er game...UGH, we got killed and also watched some Hurricane Irma coverage. We are praying for Florida and those of you who live there. I hope you were safe & that the destruction was minimal. The footage I watched was so scary!
Here are some flowers from the wedding we went to on Saturday night. We were some of the last to leave....too much fun dancing! Our friends mom knew it was Claire's birthday, so sent us home with one of the table arrangements for her...isn't it gorgeous?
Then is was time for Dinner....I made Teriyaki Steak Kabobs, grilled corn on the cob & Caprese salad with tomatoes from our garden! My Early Girl Tomatoes have FINALLY turned red!!!
I am trying to drink more water. I am the worst...I always forget to drink water because I don't like water that much. My cute Kate Spade Tumbler makes me like drinking water more :) Lavander is not my favorite color, but if your name starts with an M, that is what color it comes in. Every initial is a different color! Check them out HERE.

After dinner, the kids got ready for bed, Kevin read them Harry Potter and I headed to my Book Club/Bible Study.
This was our first night of the study and we are reading Present over Perfect.
We did Part 1 of the book and I am loving it so far. Have you read it before?
Super excited about our study, I loved the first one.

So, there you have it....a sneak peek into my day on the 10th.
It was a really busy day, but it was also a fun & fulfilling day.
I always look forward to the 10th because I know I will be documenting the ordinary moments of our day :)

Hope you had a great weekend!
