10 pictures on the 10th day of the month!
{Document a snapshot of your life & find beauty among the ordinary things in your day!}

ten on ten button

August 10th....one of the last days of summer :(
It was a busy day!

Morning Coffee in my house instead of in a travel mug in my classroom:
Checking things off our Summer List....going to get Donuts in our pj's!
Back home & watering the flowers in my backyard before it gets too hot:
My kids have been begging me all week to go to my classroom to help me set up. They love playing school when they are here. I think I might have some future teachers.
Not pictured: Luke....who was playing trains on the floor :)

Then I headed to my haircut....reading while my highlights were setting.
This book {HERE} is the sequel to Firefly Lane {HERE} that I read last month. Loved Firefly Lane & I just started Fly Away. So far, so good.

The kids had popsicles when I got home & Luke's hands got super sticky, so he wanted to wash his hands "by himself"
(Yes, I still have decorations up from his party on Sunday....I will be blogging his party tomorrow)

Dinner by the pool....Pulled Pork & Broccoli Slaw!

The kids swam after dinner. Luke told us last night when we were watching Michael Phelps swim the butterfly that "He wants to go there & he can swim like that" So, tonight, Luke showed us his butterfly....with his floaty on. LOL.
When Kevin was putting the kids to bed, I went for a quick 3 mile run. The weather was perfect. I love running in the evenings.
Kids in bed & it's time to watch the Olympics! I was working on this blog post & also making a tooth fairy receipt because Claire lost a tooth during dinner tonight...her 7th tooth!
You can see the Step by step Tutorial for the tooth fairy receipt HERE....it's super easy to make & takes 3 minutes!

So there,  you have it....a sneak peek of our 10th!
It was a great 10th even though it was busy. We are sad to see Summer go.

I don't even wash it many nights and now that I'm approaching 40 I know I need to get serious but I get overwhelmed by all the products. I think what I NEED is a basic starter care kit that doesn't have too many steps.
