10 on 10 :: September 2009

Ten pictures on the 10th day of the month!
I *almost* didn't do 10 on 10 today because this week has been so busy with life, Claire's birthday & getting ready for her party on Saturday. And, school has been hectic. I didn't want to add one more thing to my "to-do" list today. But, I knew I would regret it if I didn't do it, so here you go!
Playing with Claire's new birthday toy early this morning:
Apple on our Apple Tree...Fall is on it's way!
Playtime with Claire while Kate is napping
It was HOT today!
Playdate with Maddie & Sam!
Isn't Sam just the cutest?
It's nice to share with your buddy:
Kate making a card for our friends Reid & Kelly. They are our very close friends. Their son Owen & Kate are a week apart. On Tuesday, they had a baby girl, Elle Elizabeth Delgado. Baby Elle is in the NICU & can't keep any food down because of a cyst/growth in her stomach. Please pray for Baby Elle & the Delgado family during this time. Pray for the doctors as they try and figure out what is going on with Elle & what steps need to be taken to heal her.
My plate of Peanut Butter Cup Cookies I brought to a meeting at church tonight.
***Recipe is now at the bottom of the post!***
LinkMaking more cookies. This time it is sugar cookies for Claire's party favors for Saturday's party!***Edited to add recipe for Peanut Butter Cup cookies***1 package of pre-made peanut butter cookie dough (12 big cookies)
12 recees peanut butter cups
Spray muffin tin with cooking spray/Pam.
Put 1 chunk of cookie dough in each tin.
Bake according to package directions, but for 1-2 minutes LESS.
While cookies are baking, un-wrap 12 recees peanut butter cups.
As soon as cookies are done, place 1 peanut butter cups in each cookie.
Let cool for 15-20 minutes, then scoop cookies out of muffin tins & put on plate.
So easy to make & so good to eat!
Enjoy!
Obviously, this recipe can be easily doubled, just use 2 packages of cookie dough & 24 recees peanut butter cups!
