What We've been up to.....
October has been fun, the highlight was going to Vegas this past weekend to celebrate one of our friends 40th birthdays!
 We saw Beatles Love.
Always love seeing a Cirque show in Vegas.

Highlight was going to the Chainsmokers concert.
I LOVE The Chainsmokers!!!

The concert started at 1:30 am and ended at 4:00am.

EPIC night!!

Such a fun weekend with our friends!
Loved celebrating our friend Lauren!

What I'm Dreading.....
Teaching on Halloween. If you are a teacher, you know the CRAZINESS of Halloween and all the excitement. I love it, but also dread this day a little bit because the kids...especially middle school kids love Halloween and think they can eat candy all day in class. Its a fun day, but it's just insane.
Like I said....I love it, but dread it because the energy is just a whole new level!

What I'm Working On.....
My younger sister is having her 3rd baby in January (It's a BOY!)
I'm working on her baby shower that I am throwing...I need to get the invites out next week.
Sneak Peek of the theme :)

What I'm Excited About.....
If you missed my post on Monday.....it's Instant Pot-ober!!
Formerly known as Crocktober :)

I am giving away an Instant Pot and $100 Amazon Gift card to THREE people.
I'm so excited about this giveway!
Enter HERE if you haven't already!
I'm also excited about the recipe I posted for Instant Pot-ober.
It's a Chili recipe that uses 1 inch cubes of beef instead of ground beef.

It's so good! Check it out HERE!

What I'm Watching........
 This is Us!

Kevin and I also started watching Ozark. We finished Season 1....loving it so far!
Also watching Hallmark Fall Harvest Movies....my girls LOVE watching them with me!

Their favorite is Pumpkin Pie Wars.
We just love the Fall ones!

What I'm Reading.....
I read 4 books this month:

The Bad Daughter
Psychological Thriller & kept me guessing.
3.5 out of 5 stars

The Kind Worth Killing
Another psychological thriller with lots of twists & turns!
4 out of 5 stars

Victorious Secret

This book is good for your soul. It is refreshing & honest.
It talks about the battles we face everyday.
This would be a great Bible Study or book to read with a group of women from church
4.5 out of 5 stars

Crazy Rich Asians

This was good, but not as good as it was hyped up to be. I just started the 2nd in the trilogy.
3.5 out of 5 stars.

What I'm Listening to.....
Pandora's Top Hits.
Currently loving The Chainsmokers new song with Kelsea Bellerini
 It's called This Feeling.
Love it!!!!

What I'm Wearing.....
Here in California, it's been in the 80s almost the entire month of October.
So warm! Haven't switched over to booties/boots yet, so I am still wearing my Rothy's pretty much everyday.
I've worn them everyday to work except once!

I have 2 pairs of the pointed tow version...the Cloud Gray Birdseye and the Solid Black.
They are made from recycled water bottles!
They come in tons of colors and 4 different styles.
I love the pointed toe version, but they also come in rounded toe, loafer or sneakers.
They just now started carrying kids sizes.

It feels like I am wearing slippers.
And, the insoles are machine washable!
Size up 1/2 a size....I PROMISE!
Click HERE to save $20 on your first pair.

What I’m doing this weekend.....
We have our family photos!
And soccer. Lots of soccer!
This is the last couple weeks of the season.

What I'm Looking Forward to next month.....
 Thanksgiving!
Love this time of year :)
And, Thanksgiving dinner is my favorite meal of the year...really looking forward to that!

What else is new.....
I finally updated my Recipe Box on my blog!!!

I made a NEW icon for Instant Pot recipes!

I added an Instant Pot category...check it out HERE!

All my Instant Pot recipes in ONE spot! Look at all those IP recipes :)

Question of the month is:
What is your favorite Halloween Costume?
Hands down it was the costume I made a couple years ago.
The staff theme at my school was 80's.
So, I wore my actual clothes I had in the late 80s/early 90s and I made a photo background from the 80s that were used in school photos.
I was "me" in the 80s! The background was my favorite part...I added rope & wore it like a backpack on my back so it stayed proped up.

I saved it so I will be using this costume again! :)
