Friday Favorites {February Edition}

Happy Friday!!!
Today I'm linking up with Friday Favorites!
Hosted by: Andrea, Erika & Narci

{ONE}
 Fridays are my favorite day of the week.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Fridays!
 Friday means it's almost the weekend.....that means family time, sleeping in time & no school!
Today is Friday the 13th....my college roommate and I love Friday the 13th because every Friday the 13th we always had fun things happen. For the past 15 years we either email or text each other Happy Friday the 13th. I don't think we have missed one yet!
On Friday afternoons, we are all just done & ready for the weekend.
As soon as I get home from picking up Kate from school at 3:30 on Fridays we just hang out at home.
No errands, no schedules, just mellow time at home.
And, let't s be real here....this is what I do the second I get home on Friday afternoons:
Their should be a 4th line....it should actually say:
Bra Off
Hair Up
PJ's On
Wine Poured

Can I get an Amen?

Friday night means Pizza night, drinking wine & Family Movie Night.
Once the kids are in bed, we catch up on our shows on our DVR.
Currently I am obsessed with Shark Tank.
Favorite show to watch on Friday nights.
I love seeing peoples ideas!
I am a markerters dream....I have bought several things I have seen on Shark Tank!

{TWO}
Father Daughter Dances are my favorite.

Last weekend Kate & Kevin had a Father Daughter Dance for Kate's Brownie Troop.

Getting this dress on clearance with Kohl's cash is also my favorite.

{THREE}
This is my favorite 2.5 year old....yes, that's right...he is officially 2 and a half....closer to 3.
#cuetears

I am really enjoying this age right now....he is talking more and more and his little personality is showing. He is just too much fun. He is busy. Oh so busy, but he is such a fun kid.

{FOUR}
Cholola is my favorite. I make myself an egg scramble 2-3 times a week for lunch.
This is just an excuse to have Cholola.

 I make my scrambles with eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon (or ham), cherry tomatoes & zucchini.
Load on the Cholola and boom...flavor explosion!

{FIVE}
Seeing Before & After Pictures is my favorite.

I love being a Rodan + Fields consultant the past 14 months.
I use the Reverse line in the mornings (for sun damage/age spots/pregnancy melasma) and I use Redefine at night (anti age & fine lines/wrinkles)

 One of my favorite products is our eye cream:

 Look at the difference between the left side & right side.
One of our fellow consultants used the eye cream on just one eye for 3 weeks
She was brave to put it only on 1 eye!

Getting FREE things is my Favorite....how about you?
For all new preferred customers you get $20 cash back, 10% off your order, FREE shipping AND a FREE Foaming Sunless Tanner!

It is my FAVORITE for the winter.
My legs are pasty white in the winter.
In a a few weeks we have girls school auction & I will be wearing a dress.
So glad I have our Sunless Tanner to use & give my legs/arms color!
Our sunless tanner is great...doesn't turn you orarage, doesn't streak!

 The girls reading books to each other is my favorite.
Onc night last week, they asked if they could read books to eachother for bedtime stories instead of having Kevin or I read to them.
Ummmm...you don't have to ask me twice! Precious!
And, a night off from bedtime routine...#winning
Kate's new bedding {HERE} that she got for her birthday is also my favorite!

{SEVEN}
  Speaking of reading....I just finished What Alice Forgot and it is my favorite book I have read so far in 2015. It was so, so, so good!
The book is about a mom of 3 who hits her head at the gym and loses her memory...she doesn't remember the past 10 years of her life.
I read this book last week and also last week during my co-ed indoor soccer game I got thrown into a wall during the game and I got KNOCKED OUT.
(Side note about that...it was some guy who shoved me into the wall after I got the ball from him....I was running full speed and next thing I know I am flying through the air going head first into the wall. I remember thinking as I was flying through the air "oh my gosh, I am going to hit my head and lose my memory just like Alice in the book"
So, mid-air, I turned my head so it wouldn't go into the wall, but instead the whole left side of my body...shoulder, back & hip hit the wall at full force. It knocked me out for about 5 seconds.
The good news? I didn't lose my memory or break anything.
The bad news? I couldn't move my neck for a few days after and I have huge massive bruising & a hematoma on my left hip. The bruising is crazy. So gross.
So, the guy who did that to me got ejected from the game...and he didn't even say SORRY to me!!!!!
So rude!
It was at the end of the first half and I obviously was out for the game...I was so out of it and in so much pain....my knee was bleeding, my hip was bleeding...I was a hot mess.
Long story short...I couldn't believe that happened to me the same week I was reading "What Alice Forgot"
If you haven't read it, I recommend it! I laughed, I cried & I related to it.
Having 3 kids can be tough. Marriage can be tough. 3 kids can make your marriage even harder, but it's worth it.
Thanks to everyone who recommended it on my 15 books in 2015 post {HERE}
Can't wait to start a new book this weekend!

{EIGHT}
Having a healthy dad is my favorite.
Exactly a year ago yesterday my dad had a 13 hour brain surgery at Stanford to remove a tumor on his brain that was the size of a tangerine. It was one of the longest days of my life. I will never forget those hours in the waiting room at Stanford. I am so thankful for the amazing team of doctors at Stanford who took such good care of my dad.

 I love this photo of Jimmy....taken 2 days after his surgery!
You can read the post I wrote about my Dad's surgery {HERE}
So incredibly thankful for my Dad's health!

 {NINE}
Making Valentine Printable is my favorite...I seriously have a problem...I am obsessed with making them! Ha!

The Starburst ones I made this year are my current favorite :)

{TEN}

  2. Holy Sh*t! Just checked the time and it's 3:49am. I'm on here for your Valentine Day cookies...procrastinator much? Erik told me about your soccer accident from Kevin-had no idea...What the what? He didn't say sorry? He shouldn't be just ejected from that game, he should be BANNED altogether! So glad you are on the mend and I think I need to add that Alice book to my stack of books, granted none of the other books have been read. :/ LOVE Kate's bedding and cute picture of Luke! I was just saying the same thing to someone the other day about how much fun Liam is right now! We need to have them play! Okay, off to go make those cookie jars, and maybe sleep for an hour. Down to two binkies which are both currently lost, so I just decided I am on night two of cold turkey...poor guy, poor me! ;)

  5. Ok, that first sign is my favorite thing I've seen all MONTH! That is the only after work activity I'm interested in tonight! Also, can't believe you got knocked out at soccer! Craziness. I hope you are feeling better very soon. Tough mama. Have a wonderful pizza movie night. We do the same. I am DONE by Friday.

  7. HA, I think we all feel the same way about Fridays! =)
    I can't believe that some jerk caused you to get knocked out and didn't even have the decency to apologize! Do you think you would have thought to move your head like that had you not read that book? Anyway, I'm glad it wasn't more serious, even though it sounds terribly painful. Hope you have a fabulous Valentine's weekend with your beautiful family!
