It's December 10th! You know what that means?
It's the last 10 on 10 for the year 2013.
This month has flown by.
This year has flown by.

Here in California, we have been having a cold streak for almost a week.
For the past 5 days, it has been in the high 20's - low 30's in the mornings.
I took this as I arrived at school this morning. Brrrrr.

Coffee & a Luna Bar. My breakfast everyday. Around 9am.
(I can't eat until a few hours after I wake up.)
My school is right next to a park. Such a pretty view. Winter is here....all the leaves are almost gone.
After school, I picked up Luke & while I was standing in the kitchen making lunch, he ripped the button off my new boots!!!! He is such a destructive little guy. I called Nordstrom & I can exchange them. Reason #482 I love Nordstrom. Best customer service ever.
Prepping these candies to make these cookies again. Best Christmas cookies EVER.
Luke & I ran a few errands...had to pick up some Rainbow loom rubber bands for the girls stockings. The sky was so pretty tonight.
Lights on our house.
Today's stash of Christmas cards. Nothing makes me happier than getting the mail in December. I just love, love, love getting Christmas cards & seeing my friends beautiful families.
Obsessed with the tree. Can't keep him away from it.
After dinner, the kids went to sleep & then it was time to relax.
We had our neighborhood Christmas party over the weekend & I made Peppermint Oreo Ice Cream Cake for dessert.  There were a few pieces left over, so I had some tonight and watched a cheesy Christmas movie on Hallmark.
I LOVE all the cheesy Christmas movies on Hallmark/Lifetime/ABC Family.
Recipe HERE.

So, there you have it. A peek into our day.
Hope you had a wonderful Tuesday!

ps- the ice cream cake reminds me of the peppermint shake at Chick-fil-A. MY FAVORITE!!!! If I ever have time, I'll try and make yours :)

I'm glad you're getting your boots replaced. Nolan is so destructive too, is this a boy thing?

  10. I have a question about rainbow looms. They have just arrived (finally) in Australia, just in time for Christmas. My nieces are 7.5 and 4.5 and I really want to get them one for Christmas, am thinking it can be a joint present that they can use together. However, the box says they're for 8+, but you seem to have them for your girls - what age do you think it's appropriate for?

    Thanks so much. janelockrey(at)gmail(dot)com
