Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I have a delicious & easy recipe for you today.
It is perfect for Cinco de Mayo (or any occasion that you need to bring an appetizer)
- Can of Refried Beans
- Container of Sour Cream
- Packet of Taco Seasoning
-Pre made container of Wholly Guacamole
-Shredded Cheese
- Tomatoes
- Green Onions
-Sliced (or chopped) Black Olives
Get a large platter. I got this one at Walmart about 10 years ago for $3.
Layer 1:
Open your Refried Beans and spread them on the plate/platter.
Take your taco seasoning & mix it into the container.
This is where the magic happens. So much flavor by adding taco seasoning to the sour cream!
Layer 2:
Spread the Sour Cream/Taco Seasoning Mixutre on top of the Refried Beans.
Layer 3:
Put dallops of guacamole on top of the Sour Cream mixture. I don't really spread the guacamole, but you can if you want to!
Layer 4:
Sprinkle cheese on top of the Guacamole
Layer 5:
Dice up 2-3 Roma Tomatoes & sprinkle them on top of the cheese:
Layer 6:
Sprinkle chopped olives on top of the tomatoes. (You can also use sliced olives, whichever you prefer)
Layer 7:
Dice up 2-3 green onions and sprinkle on top as your final layer!
Dig in with chips. Yum!
This dip takes less than 10 minutes to make and it ready to be served ASAP.
Or, you can make it ahead of time and keep it in your fridge until you serve it. This can be made the night before, just cover it with foil & stick it in the fridge.
Enjoy!
The dip looks delicious! I'm pinning it to make for the next party! Thanks!
