Scensty Giveaway!

Earlier, this year, I wrote this post encouraging handmade shop owners/work from home small business owners to email me if they wanted to do a giveaway on my blog.

 I want to support other women/moms who have their own businesses so thought this would be a fun way to spread the word about products you might not know about!

Have you heard of Scentsy?

I had heard of it, but never had any of their products until a blog reader Lisa sent me an email letting me know she was an independent seller for Scentsy and wanted to do a giveaway on my blog. 

She sent me this cute warmer and some fun fall scents!
I love that this warmer just plugs into an outlet (and acts as a night light!)

I keep it plugged in our downstairs bathroom and it smells so nice. It is just like having a candle burn, but it is safer since it is just wax being warmed. I don't know about you, but I am paranoid that I am going to forget to blow out our candles. With a Scentsy warmer, you don't have to worry about that!

Here are some fun facts about Scentsy:

1. The wax is a food grade paraffin wax that is infused with essential oils and safe for pets and animals. If it were to get ingested, no harm would come from it.

2. The wax never gets hot enough to cause burns. If it were to be spilt, it would startle someone, but not burn them. You can actually stick your finger in the wax while it is going and not get burnt.

3. Each cube of wax has a burn time of 80 hours. Each scent bar contains essentially 8 candles. You can use a scent for a few hours and if you want to trade, you can dump the wax into the original container and it will get the cube form back when it hardens and can be used again.

4. Each warmer is made from ceramic and hand painted.

5. Scentsy is a safe way to keep your house smelling good, without worrying about a fire hazard. The worst that can happen is the lightbulb would go out. There is no chance of soot or chemical toxins releasing in the air.

6. There are several competitors who have tried to make Warmers/wax like scentsy. The major difference is the safety factor and the length of time it lasts. The other Warmers also do not have regulated temperatures and can burn animals, people and the surfaces they are placed on. The wax is not a food grade paraffin and would be extremely dangerous if ingested.
