10 pictures on the 10th day of the month!
{Document a snapshot of your life & find beauty among the ordinary things in your day!}
It's December 10th! You know what that means?
Christmas is coming, Christmas is coming!
2 weeks away, I can't wait!
Although, with the weather we had today (almost 70 degrees!) you would have no idea it was that close!
Got to work & prepared my notes & answer key for the day. Today was a fun lesson on Simplifying Square Roots. Doesn't this make you miss Pre-Algebra? Ha!
The leadership class at our school is doing "Secret Snowflakes" and each student is assigned a teacher. This is what my Secret Snowflake gave me today...A 7 up & some microwave popcorn. Pretty sure you should pin this awesome poem. Ha!
Home from school & the first thing we did was snack time, followed by homework (for Kate). Claire wanted homework also, so I made her practice her writing her name. Of course, I had Christmas music blasting. Everyday after school the Christmas music gets turned on. Favorite.
Gum drops in an old school jar. Just like my Grammy has at her house :)
Dinner Prep....Mexican Chicken Tortilla Casserole. A staple during Fall/Winter.
Off to check the mail...my favorite thing to do in December, because that means CHRISTMAS CARDS!!
My friends are on the ball this year, we have already gotten quite a few & it's only December 10th! This is how I display them.....pom pom ribbon across my window & then I use mini clothespins to attach the cards:
My neighbors have fun Christmas lights/decorations, so I took some pictures of them & played around with my settings on the 2nd one, I think it looks neat :)
Today was a really good day.
The weather was beautiful & the girls played SO well together all afternoon.
It was so nice. I am glad today ended up on the 10th because it really was just a nice (and rare) day with no tears or arguing.
Being so sleep deprived, I am thankful for a day like today.
It is well with my soul.

ReplyDeleteThis is kind of random but I'm trying to print the Christmas Cookies stickers that you made last year for the cookies in a jar. (Front sticker and directions on back sticker) The resolution is pretty low and they are not printing well. Would you ever have time to send them to me in a higher resolution?
