Friday Favorites + $100 Visa Gift Card Giveway

Happy Friday!
Today I'm linking up with Friday Favorites!
Hosted by: Andrea, Erika & Narci
 Oh Friday, how I love you.
I have 10 favorites to share with you today!
{ONE}
This method for Shredded Chicken is my favorite!
I shared it on THIS post earlier this week.
Seriously life changing.
 Check it out HERE if you missed it.
I also posted some of my favorite Pinterest ideas on that post!
{TWO}
Yesterday was National Wine Day.
If you know me, you know I love wine!
I wore this shirt on my run yesterday in honor of wine day!
 I got this shirt last summer, I can't find the same style as mine, but HERE & HERE are similar ones.

New Running shoes are also my favorite!
Last week after one of my runs, my Nike + Running App told me that I had run 360 miles & that it was time for new running shoes.
 I know it's silly, but I will never forget these shoes...the shoes that re-started my running journey after a 10 year hiatus. They are the shoes that made me realize my body can do more than I thought. The shoes that I wore while training & running 2 half marathons. I've been through a lot with these shoes. I know they are just shoes, but they are making me feel all the feelings.
 Yesterday, I went and got fitted for new running shoes.
Tip: Go to a running store & have them analyze your feet, how you walk & how you run. They will find the perfect show for you! Don't just pick a running shoe because you like the way they look!

They came in a few different colors, but of course I got the pink ones (my favorite color)

 My running store had my shoe in white which I didn't want because it would get too dirty. They had 1 left in my size in pink.

THESE are the shoes I got & there are more color choices than just pink & white. Even though I got fitted at a running store, if they don't have your size (or color you like) you can sometimes find the same style shoe in other sizes/colors.

  Amazon has older models of the same shoe (in different colors) and those prices are usually less expensive if you get the past years colors.

I'm excited for all the adventures & miles I am going to have with my new shoes!

Last weekend I was invited to Rodan + Fields Center for Leadership in San Francisco (that is where Rodan + Fields headquarters is located)
350 Consultants from all over the US and Canada were flown in for the weekend & we were treated like queens!
 San Francisco had lanterns lit up for Chinese New Year...they were so beautiful!
 On our last night (Saturday) they had a party for us on the 32nd floor of the St. Francis.
The food was incredible...they had "stations" all around the room with food from different neighborhoods of San Francisco!
South of Market...Mexican food:
California Cheese Station:
  Fisherman's Wharf....Seafood:
 North Beach....aka Little Italy
 Chinatown....Chinese food:
 Desserts!
 Meeting new friends!
 It was 2 days of training & having fun at the Westin St. Francis
I am so thankful for this opportunity...it is a little side gig that has turned into so much more.
If I can do this, YOU can do this! You don't need a blog, you just need to know people with skin
 What I love about R+F is that anyone can be a consultant. We have people on our team who are lawyers, nurses, pharmaceutical reps, stay at home moms, hair dressers, speech therapists, court reporters, Physican Assistants, Realtors......etc....anyone can do this in very part time hours....15 minutes a day!
If you are interested in learning more or interested in joining my team, I would LOVE to chat with you. I have a training that is starting next week, I would love to have you be a part of it.
We have some great signing up bonuses going on this month!

Speaking of Rodan + Fields....one of my favorite products is our Sunless Tanner (it sells out every Spring!!!!)
This is Abbey (I met her last weekend at the training) She used our tanner to get ready for a winter beach trip!
The tanner doesn't smell bad, doesn't streak & doesn't turn you orange!

If you want your sunless tanner results to last even longer, you can pair it with our Micro Derm Paste.
I use it 2-3 times a week at night to wash my face.
Our Micro-Dermabrasion Paste is a high-glide, oil-free formula designed to promote maximum gentle exfoliation, featuring vitamins C and E.
Use it 1-3 times per week on dry skin in place of your cleanser to refresh and renew the skin’s surface  & then follow with your skincare routine (one of our Regimens!) Helps to enhance cell turnover and improve your skin tone and texture.
It smoothes away the rough spots.

Right now it is a life saver for my skin because we are having such warm weather during the day (60's & 70s), but since it is February (and technically winter!) the temperature drops to the 30's & 40s at night & we are running our heater.
All those drastic temperature changes can be rough on your skin and dry you out, but I swear our paste is saving my skin this month!
I use it on my face, arms & legs 2-3 times a week.
R+F Micro-dermabrasion Paste will be your best friend... Not only does the jar seem to last forever, but the uses are endless!

The gentle exfoliation can be used a couple times a week on your face to help cell turnover and improve skin tone and texture.
Its also great for rough spots like knees, elbows and heels!! You don't want to go through winter without it!

Exfoliation is key to glowing skin!
If you want radiant skin you NEED our Micro-Dermabrasion paste.
I LOVE it and one jar lasts me about 6 months.
 I know so many friends who are IN LOVE with our Microdermabrasion Paste AND our Foaming Sunless Tanner, so I am placing a BULK order NEXT FRIDAY just in time for Spring!
I am offering these at my CONSULTANT PRICE!

Microdermabrasion Paste-$68
Foaming Tanner- $21

These prices include tax & I will ship them to you for FREE!
For best results I ALWAYS exfoliate with the Microdermabrasion paste first on my legs and arms and then use the sunless tanner.

For all new preferred customers you get $20 cash back, 10% off your order, FREE shipping AND a FREE  Foaming Sunless Tanner.

Valentine's Day with our family is my favorite. I love doing little things for holidays to make them memorable & fun.
This I made heart shaped Buttermilk Pancakes for breakfast & added whipped cream and Valentine Sprinkles.

For dinner, we did make your own pizza night!
I used our AMAZING pizza maker...seriously, I am obsessed!

Get one HERE or HERE
I shaped the dough into a heart shape :)

Kevin & the kids got me the best Valentines gift ever...I was gone Friday & Saturday, so when I got home they had a Happy Valentine's Day banner on the garage for me and our entire house was spotless & all the laundry was folded & put away!!!!

{SIX}
Celebrating Un-Valentine's Day with Kevin is my favorite.
Kevin proposed on February 15th...so every year we celebrate Valentine's Day/Our Engagement Anniversary on the 15th. It is genius....we never have to fight crowds or have pre-fix menu's on the 15th.  I also love that on Valentine's Day we can celebrate with our kids & do a family celebration.
Here we are 14 years ago in 2002:
 We look like babies!!!! So young!!!
If you want to read our Engagement Story, you can read it {HERE}

And, this is us on Monday! 14 years later!
I actually got carded at dinner....our waitress was about 30 & she asked for my ID...I said "Are you serious??? I am WAY older than 21!" Totally made my day. Thank you Rodan + Fields ;)

{SEVEN}
This little guy is my favorite son ;)
 This past weekend he rode his bike without training wheels!! What?!?!
 He is only 3.5....he has no fear!
So proud of no more training wheels!

 {EIGHT}
Blooming trees in my backyard are my favorite to look at...they are so pretty.
 But, what to know what's not my favorite?
All the pollen!
My allergies are going CRAZY.
The past 2 weeks I have been so tired & my head is so fuzzy & sinuses are itchy.
 Spring has arrived here in California!

{NINE}
Since the weather has been so nice, I have been wearing my flats instead of boots/booties.
THESE are the most comfortable flats I have EVER worn.
I got them almost 2 years ago for Back to School. They feel like I am wearing slippers.
 They are so comfortable that I got another pair last Spring (the tan ones)
As a teacher, I need comfortable shoes & these are heaven.
Get them HERE

  8. As somebody who works at a running store, I'm thrilled to hear you suggest that people go get fitted for their shoes (it avoids and helps injuries!). I'm not so thrilled that you suggest they go to a running store to get fitted and then go online to get the shoes cheaper. Seems to be taking advantage of the store's knowledge and expertise. Please consider encouraging people to support their local running stores. Good luck with your training!
